Turing College Archaeology • Canterbury Archaeological Trust • Investigation of the site lasting 20 weeks • 40 archaeologists currently on site • Features/findings range from the Iron Age and Roman periods • Artefacts include fire pits, ditches and structures For updates and further interest, progress of the dig can be found on their blog; http://www.canterburytrust.co.uk/trust-blog/turing-2

Turing College Being a Good Neighbour Working Hours Mon – Fri 07.30 to 17.30 Sat 07.30 to 13.00 Traffic Management and Security A dedicated logistics manager for the project will be employed who will control the scheduling of deliveries and the movement of vehicles in and out of the site. In addition, we will employ site security guards along with CCTV monitoring Parking Parking for contractors vehicles will be located on site and will be enforced by Brookfield Multiplex 24/7 Helpline A helpline will be setup for the project to enable local residents and stakeholders to contact Brookfield Multiplex directly in relation to the project. Calls to the helpline will be recorded with the follow up actions published and made available in residents newsletters

Turing College Community Engagement Project Stakeholder Meetings For the duration of the project, monthly meetings will be held to engage with the project stakeholders to keep them informed of the works planned and any changes to our operations which may affect them Project Newsletters To engage with a wider audience, and those who may be unable to attend the meetings, we will publish and distribute a quarterly newsletter to outline progress, and provide a look-ahead to the next three months of planned work

Turing College Being a Good Neighbour - Environment • Ecology surveys conducted to date • Badgers • Bats • Great Crested Newts • Mitigation measures have been developed for the project, focusing on; • Noise control • Dust • Vibration • Permanent works design • The works have been designed to enhance the existing habitat for the wildlife current inhabiting the areas. These features include; • Gabion retaining walls • Large drainage swales
