  7. Step 1 • To begin, the • teacher will be • the narrator.

  8. Step 2 • Teacher will pass out cards. KEEP CARDS SECRET!

  9. Step 3 You might be police, mafia or townsperson.

  10. Step 4 • At night, everyone closes eyes... If teacher says your group, open eyes.

  11. Step 5 For Mafia, you point at 1 person to “kill”.

  12. Step 6 • For police, you point at 1 person to be maybe Mafia. Teacher will tell yes or no. Step 8

  13. MORNING

  14. Step 7 Everyone talks about Mafia. Police helps but can’t say “I am police. • We all have a • meeting.

  15. Step 8 • Finally, we pick 2 people to maybe send to jail.

  16. Step 9 • Then all students vote on people. Yes gone or no stay. • Then night again.

  17. ! Let’s

  18. Go to sleep! (Hide your eyes.)

  19. Mafia members, WAKE UP!!

  20. Look around.

  21. Who will die? Don’t speak! (Point to who you think should die.)

  22. Now sleep.

  23. Police! WAKE UP!!

  24. Look around. Point at someone to ask if Mafia.

  25. Now sleep.

  26. There are Mafia members among us!

  27. One citizen was killed during the night…

  28. We will have a town meeting.

  29. Who is guilty?

  30. Let’s take a vote. Save or die?

  31. Are you Mafia?

  32. You were saved. Do you want revenge?

  33. Go to sleep! (Hide your eyes.)
