Goals • At the end of this mission, robot candidates will run on • an obstacle course that simulates a presidential • campaign trail. • Your robot may earn votes for: • A good campaign slogan. • Making noise. • Standing tall. • Raising money (or collecting candy). • A campaign speech (recorded in Scratch and triggered by moving a mouse).
Modules • Modular construction is BIG! • Break your solution into simple motion, sensor and structural modules. • You may find instructions for useful modules in Build-It-Blocks.
The Plan • Plan and design. • Build modules. • Build obstacles. • Integrate and test your solution. • Document results. • Present your project to the world. There’s a lot to do! If we don’t work together, our solution may fail.
