Important points to remember • Do not start centrifuging until the centrifuge is full or no one else will need it in the near future. Use any centrifuge in the lab. • Come in tomorrow to count your plates. • Do not throw trash in the autoclave bags – they are for items contaminated with bacteria only.
Variability and Significance Mean height of Lakers team: 2.23 meters Std. Dev. of Lakers: 0.25 meters Mean height of Wizards team: 2.28 meters Std. Dev. of Wizards: 0.22 meters Wizards mean is 0.05 meters taller, but that difference is much smaller than the variability (SD) in players.
Mean height of Lakers team: 1.82 meters Std. Dev. of Lakers: 0.25 meters Mean height of Wizards team: 2.48 meters Std. Dev. of Wizards: 0.22 meters Wizards mean is 0.66 meters taller, and that difference is larger than the variability in players.
