    8. What have you learned? Motivation—our own and others’—is a major issue in our lives. It matters at home and at work. We each have different motivational temperaments. It’s not a question of getting more, but of harnessing what we’ve got.1,2 There are effective ways to do that. Try some of them out. Don’t let your frustrated longing for perfection keep you from making some progress.
