4. Eco-tourism students from Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela help with gathering recyclables during PACfest 2009.

6. Club Earth members, IALS Eco-Tourism students from Central America and ESOL faculty made posters to promote recycling.
7. Reporters of “The Pulse,” Palo Alto’s student newsletter, write about the greening of the campus.
8. Launched a volunteer-run recycling program that has rescued 36,919 pounds of recyclables
9. Distributed environmental information to more than 10,000 community members during PACfest 2008 and 2009
10. Recycling bins were stationed next to each trash can at PACfest 2009.District 4 Councilman Philip Cortez said PACfest was the first city event he’d been to that featured recycling.

12. National finalist, one of 10 selected of 2,500 submitted, for a Green Effect Grant to begin a bike-sharing initiative
