Installing the Desktop Software • Insert the WeTextBook® CD into your computer. • Double-click on the Installer application. • Follow the onscreen instructions. NOTE: The Installer can also be downloaded from http://weTextBooks.com/downloads/ Page 5
Creating Your User Account • Choose a username. • Create a password. • Select your college. • Enter your profile information. NOTE: Minimum 8 characters with at least one special character (!@#$%^&*) Page 6
Signing Into Your Account • Access your personal account at http://weTextBook.com/. • Enter your username. • Enter your password. Page 7

Connecting Your WeTextBook® • Open the WeTextBook® software on your computer. • Click on the Find My Device ( ) Toolbar Button. • Type in the pass-code from the WeTextBook®. NOTE: If your computer does not have access to a WiFi Network you must use the USB Connect Cable Page 9
Syncing Data • Click on the Sync ( ) toolbar button. • Choose what type of data you want to sync. • Press Apply to sync your data. NOTE: After initial setup, your WeTextBook® will automatically sync when it is connected. Page 10
Downloading Books • Select Store from the Source list. • Navigate to your course from the Course drop down menu. • Browse the catalog of available books. • Click Rent or Buy. Page 11

Turning On Your WeTextBook® • Press the power button once. • Slide your finger across the bar at the bottom to unlock it. Page 13
Reading Your First Book • Touch the Book ( ) button on the toolbar. • Slide through your collection of books to find a book. • Tap the book that you want to read. NOTE: Your WeTextBook® comes preinstalled with the Advanced Features User’s Guide, which describes how to make annotations and save bookmarks. Page 14
Navigating a Book • Slide your finger right to the left across the screen to go forwards. • Slide your finger left to the right across the screen to go backwards. • Touch the Page ( ) button to jump to a specified page. • Touch the Chapter ( ) button to jump to a specified chapter. Page 15
