  2. Introduction: Ethics in Business • Because not all business is governmentally regulated, an action may be legal, but still unethical. This is where ethics really comes into play. • Mcdonalds is undeniably successful at marketing to consumers, but is it ethical to market directly towards children?

Mcdonalds Advertises towards Children • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_bQM25uJxA • Not only does Mcdonald’s advertise towards children, but it has increased spending in the last few years. • Through its ads Mcdonalds is encouraging unhealthy lifestyles, and is not presenting the risks of eating fast food.

  5. Are you depressed? Have a Big Mac! • Is it ethical to advertise fast food as a solution to mental illness? Even if it isn’t outright unethical, should advertising make light of illnesses?
