Achievements in Judicial Reform • Restructuring of the Courts and Prosecutors' Offices • Reappointment Process • Establishment of the single High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) • Reforms of procedural laws, e.g. Criminal and Civil Procedure Codes/Law on Enforcement • Establishment of the Entity Judicial Training Centres • Establishment of the State Court

Challenges for the future (1) • CHALLENGE: • Lack of a centralised funding authority • PRIORITY: • To implement the recommendation of the Functional Review, to transfer funding to State level
Challenges for the future (2) • CHALLENGE: • Inadequate funding for operational expenses and accumulated debts • PRIORITY: • Continue lobbying effort
Challenges for the future (3) • CHALLENGE: • Backlog in the courts • PRIORITY: • Thorough review to be carried out, closer communication between court presidents, development of a new system for the measurement of judicial efficiency
Challenges for the future (4) • CHALLENGE: • Inadequate judicial premises • PRIORITY: • Survey on material conditions of judicial premises to be carried out; based on this, lobbying efforts will be continued Municipal Court Travnik Municipal Court Srebrenica - Heating system
