Southwest Asia (also called the Middle East) has the world's largest known oil reserves. • Definition Oil Reserves: Underground oil, petroleum, or natural gas that has been discovered but remains unused.
Why do we buy so much oil?Oil can be made into gasoline... • Gasoline is used to operate cars, subways, trains, buses, airplanes, etc. • Gas is also used to heat and cool our homes! • Gas is used to give us electricity!
