Academic Skills for First Year Management This course benefits all first year international students in the School of Management. You will develop key academic skills through a weekly 2 hour class that relates to aspects of your academic courses. • develop your reading and writing skills for Management • expand your knowledge of Management terminology • gain confidence in discussion skills • prepare for Management exams • review selected lectures

In-sessional English Language Courses If you are an international student, you can also join ‘general’ Academic English courses. We have a choice of 15 courses to choose from!

1-to-1 Writing Consultations Meet a writing skills specialist to discuss how to improve your academic writing • Up to 3 x 30 minute sessions per term – Free! • We will look at a sample of your written work and give you useful feedback. • You can book through Management Reception OR Royal Holloway International Reception (IN009).
