What does a CMS allow you to do? It offers the ability to: • 1. Easily create new content with no need to for a web designer • 2. Decide for yourself if and when new content will be visible to customers • 3. Give access to one or more administrators • 4. Store content for later / repeated use
& Point of Sale • Campus Webstore connects directly to your Point of Sale database • The items viewed on Campus Webstore are exactly as they appear in GM / TEXT / TRADE • Going to “Master File Maintenance” and viewing an item and selecting “W” for web will allow you to edit the web options for that item • Campus Webstore options are split between POS and the Campus Webstore CMS
Checklist…Before web orders can begin... • Will you use “Live Rates” or “Shipping Tables”? • Which tax table should be used for Web Orders? (POS) • Which states will be charged tax with Web Orders? • Will you charge tax on shipping? (if so, fee code needed) • What types of Credit Cards will be accepted with Web Orders? • What fee code will you use for shipping? • Are you multi-store? If so, which stores will be on Website? • If you’re using “Live Rates”, what is the origin zip code? • What email address(es) will receive copies of Web Orders?

“General Settings” options • Enable BuyBack?: This checkbox, when checked, allows users to view textbooks available for BuyBack
“General Settings” options • Allow Shopping As Guest?: This checkbox, when checked, allows anyone to make purchases in your store. When left unchecked, users will be prompted to create a username and password before completing any purchases.
“General Settings” options • Use QuickLinks?: This checkbox, when checked, causes your QuickLinks to be visible on your front page. (**Check with TCS to make certain QuickLinks are installed)
