Real Story – PhakamaniMngomezulu Cont. • We received a letter from him on the 25 January 2011 • He needed only R5000 to register for studying medicine within 3 days • Same day as friends we raised R7000 • By Friday it was R30,000 • In Nov 2011 he called to give feedback , he was exempted from writing the exams due to his excellent performance • Thanks you for all your support
The Zululand Career Expo was aimed at the development and empowerment of young minds in the Zululand Region. Education is a central socio-economic right to the development of a citizen and a nation, also an important building block in laying the foundation for life-long learning and Economic opportunities.
Provide insight into various career options available ,empowering more than 3000 learners , careers including: • commercial – i.e. chartered accountancy; • engineering and actuary; • legal; • human resources; • medical; • aviation; • media and marketing; • image • general artisans • entrepreneurship • And many others.
With your help, we were able to: • Provide transportation to the children participating in the Career Expo;10 Buses/day • Serve hot meals and drinks to the children, the majority of whom are on school feeding schemes;1000 learners/day • Provide more than 40 learners with new school uniforms; • Donate food and clothing to many child headed households; • Facilitate support and mentorship workshops to teachers and leaders within the surrounding communities through the GBR Leadership Forum;
Leadership Forum “energises, inspires and provides leadership learning opportunities”.

Donation of School Shoes Dec 2011 • Each learner received • Warm blanket for winter • School Bag • Stationery • Full School Uniform 40 Learners mostly without parents benefited from the project With your support we can do more.
Donation of School Shoes Dec 2011 Mechanical Flower During the month of December 2011 ,ONE HUNDRED pairs of school shoes were donated to the Esikhawini Hope Centre for the benefit of the orphans
Christmas Packs-December 2011-KZN During the month of December 2011 ,We managed to provide Christmas packs to more than 50 families ,majority which are minor headed , the widows and the poor.
Food Hampers for 20 families in the Eastern Cape. Donation to a 97 years old grandmother in a wheel chair. Old lady living with 6 grand children receiving their food hamper for the Christmas. The plan is to do more donation and career counselling in the EC during 2012
