Events of the week • 18 Jan 2005- joint meeting with 802.11 • “IEEE” brand discussion continues • Decided: coordination of ALL industry alliances to provide information to 802.15/802.11 PC chairs for inclusion in respective web pages. • Web page will be generated including calendar information for significant external events that relate industry alliances that openly support fully compliant IEEE 802.11/15 standards based implementations. Events of the week • Jason Ellis requested that we publicize (via press release) the high interest in 802.15.4a • Question – does WG need to approve this action based on a draft press release? • In any case, a draft press release needs to be generated. • WG chair needs to submit press release text to IEEE SA for approval and publication.
