Benefits of Softball Fields & Enhancement of LISD Athletics • Upgraded Facilities that can Align with Current Growth and Future Development of Women’s “Fast-Pitch” Softball Programs • Adequate Concession and Restroom Facilities • Adequate Hosting Facilities when Competing in District Games • Adequate Facilities for Preseason and Playoff Games • Upgraded Facilities for Freshman and Junior Varsity Softball Games • Allowing for Middle School and Freshman Softball Programs to be Established • Allowing for Multiuse Off-Season Playing Field, including Developmental League use during Winter and Summer Seasons • Utilizing Available School Land for Adequately Sized Playing Fields, Parking Areas, and Facilities • Providing Family Oriented Athletic Activities
