  2. EnterobiusVermicularis egg • The egg is approximately 25 x 60umin size • It has a thin shell with flattened side

  3. Adult tick • Carry lyme disease

  4. Ascarislumbricodes • The eggs are rounded and have a thick shell with external mamillated layer often stained brown.

  5. Bilinus snail • Serves as intermediate host for schistosomiasis • Tropical freshwater snail

  6. Fasciola hepatica • The eggs are large measuring 150um. • Has quite small opeculum

  7. E.histolytica • Causes Amoebiasis • Cyst is 10 -15um in diameter • Matured cyst is quadrinucleated • Trophoziote has no fixed shape cos constantly changing ( contains RBCs,)

  8. Trophoziotes and Cyst of G. lamblia

  9. Trichomona Vaginalis • Do not have a cystic stage • Its pear shaped • Has an Axostyle running all throught the length of the trophozoite • They have a single nucleus a the anterior end.

  10. Onchomelania snail • Freshwater snail • Is a vector for schistosomiasis and paragonimus • O. hupensis intermediate host for S. Japonicum
