  2. Program PowerPoint • The programcalled PowerPoint is a part of the package of Microsoft Office. Itforms - together with the text editor Word andthe spreadsheet Excel - the skeleton of the Office programs. • PowerPoint is a program for the creation of computer presentations. • The term presentation represents a file. • Its individual parts are called frames. • Frames fill the whole screen of the computer. • Using a dataprojectorwecan display the frames on the projection screen.

  3. Information on Slides • titles and texts, • images and photographs, • tables, • charts, • diagrams, • video and sound clips.

  4. WhatIs New in PowerPoint 2010 • Inserting a movie into a presentation, video editing and video playback. • Trimmingboththevideo and audio clips. • Using bookmarks in the audio clips and videos. • Creating a link to a video from the Web videos. • Using graphic texturesand effects forthepictures. • Removing the background and other unwanted parts of the image. • More accurate croppingthe images. • New layouts for SmartArt graphics. • Using transitions with 3D graphics motion effects. • Copying and adding animation effects from one object (a text or a shape) into another object. • Adding a screenshot to a slide.

  5. Startingthe Program • Press the start button. • Open the program from Microsoft. • Double-click the shortcut on the desktop or in the taskbar.

  6. How to Create a Shortcut on the Desktop • Close (or reduce) all the windows. • Click the Start menu. • Find the line PowerPoint in the programmenu. • Show the mouse cursor on the line. Just stick at the same time Ctrl + Shift, and shown with the left button pull the mouse on the desktop. • Release the left mouse button. A PowerPoint icon will appear on the desktop.

  9. Help in PowerPoint 2010 • Press F1 for help. • Running • Control left arrow – a step back. • Right arrow – a step forward. • House- the view of the introductory Help content. • Printer – print help. • Book-view content, hide content.

  10. ACTIVITIES: Create learning content for the needs of the study. Create it by using the prt sc, clippings and a screenshot. Create the learningcontent using Word. The learning content will be issued in the elearning environment at www.oauh.cz. Create learning contents on the following themes: • Launchingthe PowerPoint program. • Control the PowerPoint program. • Ways to view a presentation in Powerpoint.
