  1. RIGHT WITH GOD. Who do you believe God To Be?

  2. Marriage is used to describe the relationship between God and Israel in the OT and between Jesus Christ and the church in the NT. Contemplating marriage deepens understanding of God’s love for his people; examining God’s covenant love for his people similarly enriches an understanding of marriage. In marriage, you choose to set yourself apart only for your spouse, and you expect your spouse to do the same. It is a mutual pledge to honoureach other.

  3. Hosea 2:19-20 19 I will take you for my wife forever;    I will take you for my wife in righteousness and in justice,        in devoted love, and in mercy.20 I will take you for my wife in faithfulness;        and you will know the LORD. Are we married to the church or are we just dating the church?

  4. A sobering thought: do I really know and understand who God really is? Is God: The Force The Great-Spirit in the sky. The man upstairs. Allah Mother Nature

  5. To be a child of God is not achieved through good works. Regular church attendance will not make us a child of God. Baptism will not make us a child of God. Confirmation will not make us a child of God. Knowledge of the bible will not make us a child of God. Partaking of Holy Communion does will make us child of God. Involvement in church activities will not make us a child of God.

  6. Who is God? God is “the Supreme Being; the Creator and Ruler of all that is; the Self-existent One who is perfect in power, goodness, and wisdom.

  7. To be a child of God we must accept God on His own terms. To be a child of God we must be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
