  1. Myneighbourhood My neighbourhood is in Neo Psihiko,in Athens. It has a lot of new houses and many big trees in the streets. We also have a big square with a fountain. At night, it looks like a big forest when the lights are lit in the streets . I often hang out there with my friends, because it has a lot of coffee shops and many things to do! Alexandra

  2. Catherine Sklavou… My neighborhood! • My neighbourhood is in Zografou, which is a suburb of Athens. It is near a very big forest and I can see the Acropolis and Likavitos from my balcony. At night, there is a very beautiful view because Athens is lit and everything looks better. My neighborhood has a lot of cinemas, shops and cafeterias. I like hanging out with my friends there because it is a nice area and we have everything we want . This is the view from my balcony…

  3. Elena Feggou I live in Porto Rafti which is a suburb in the east coast of Athens. It’s a newly built suburb and that’s why it has a lot of trees and very few houses. Its population grows during the summer because it is next to the sea. It’s nice living there, as it has a lot of facilities. Moreover, it’s close to nature and it has a lot of serenity. However, I don’t like living there as it’s far from the center of Athens !

  4. My Neighborhod The past 5 years, I have been living in Halandri, a suburb of Athens. My neighbourhood has a lots of trees and there is a park near my house.My area has a lot of open spaces with many recreational activities for all kinds of ages. George Dimas

  5. Panagiotis Stathakis My Neighbourhood I live in Holargos which is located in northeastern Athens. The population of the area I live, is about 32.166 people. My area has a bit of everything. We have many facilities like basketball courts, Soccer fields, a lot of squares to hang out with friends and many other. I like my neighbourhood a lot ..All the kids are friendly and I have very good relationships with most people in my area.

Papagou • I live in Papagou which is a northeastern suburb of Athens next to a mountain called Immitos. • Even though it is not a very big place to live, it has a population of about 3000 people. • Papagos has a large variety of things to do, such us hiking in the mountain, walking in the forest(which has many animal species to spot), jogging in the street, etc. I enjoy living in a place like this… Nestor Vassiliou

  7. I live in the suburb of AghiaParaskevi. It is a very quiet and peaceful suburb. My family consists of 4 members. I, my brother, my mother and last but not least my father. Our neighbour, is an old crazy man who suffers from Alzheimer. Near my house ,a main street is located which is called Mesogeion. Finally, I would like you to know that I usually hang out in AghiaParaskevi because it is one of the biggest suburbs in Athens. Socrates Vasilas

  8. MY NEIGHBOURHOOD I live in Cholargos which is a suburb in the east of Athens.The last years, the population has increased and many houses have been built . It’s a fantastic neighbourhood full of shops,restaurants and cinemas.But there is a lot of traffic and parking your car can be a nightmare!!!!!ANDREAS CHRISTOPOULOS

  9. MY NEIGHBOURHOOD Dimitrianna Velonia I live in Agia Paraskevi which is a suburb in the east of Athens. The last few years, the population has increased rapidly and many apartments have been built. It is a nice neighbourhood which offers recreational activities for young people such as cafes, bars, fast food, restaurants and cinemas. The only bad thing is that there is a lot of traffic and it’s not easy to find a parking lot. However, the street were I live , is quiet and you can get around easily on foot too.

  10. THISIO I would like to talk to you about a place where I don’t live but I just like hanging out. It’s called Thisio and it is located in the centre of Athens. It’s full of pedestrian streets, surrounded by cafeterias and little shops with many strange and various things to choose from. FotiniKitsiou

  11. My neighborhood My neighbourhood is a very beautiful area in Glyfada ,a suburb of Athens near the sea. It isn’t noisy and there are many kids to play with in your free time. There is a park nearby , where you can go and have fun. It has some trees and that’s what makes it beautiful. My flat overlooks a nice big green garden. I couldn’t think myself living somewhere else! Olga Mantoureka My name is Olga and I live in Kifisia which is a suburb in the north of Athens .In my neighborhood, there are few cars and it’s a very quiet area .My neighbours are really friendly ! Near my house, there are some coffee shops , a super market and a leisure center. I enjoy living in Kifisia , because i can do many activities and i can spend my free time doing fun things.

  13. MYNEIGHBORHOOD! I live in psychiko, which is a suburb of Athens! I live near a forest. I like walking in my neighborhood because it is nice and full of trees! I can see all of Athens from the forest because it is on a hill. I really love my neighborhood even if my friends don’t live close to me..! Roxanne
