ESW 7 – NENA StandardsRoger Hixson - NENA • We are mid-way through documentation development for NG9-1-1, with a number of documents published and more to come • Several Requirements documents are completed (Functions, Features, System and PSAP, HMI, etc) • The Stage 3 design document for NG9-1-1 architecture is in review and expected to be issued in June-July timeframe

ESW 7 - NENA Standards The NENA NG9-1-1 Project is dealing with not only technical functional and interface requirements and standards, but also: • Emergency Entity/PSAP Equipment and Features • PSAP Operational • System Operational • Database Management • Current to NG9-1-1 Transition Aspects • Large parts of Policy issues done

ESW 7 - NENA Standards • Most of the technical aspects are done or nearing completion • NENA hosted vendor interoperability testing underway • Much of Database Mgmt procedures development in progress • PSAP Operational in progress • System Ops not really started yet • Transition probably 75% complete in draft
