IMUA “Year in Review” 2014-2015 Highlights • 2014-15 Goals • Continue to promote and grow the Association • Boost Utility, Associate Member ranks • Added seven (7) New Associate Members during the past year • 2015-16 Goal: Add six (6) more new Associate Members this year • Ongoing visits to, and related incentives for, “targeted” municipalities and vendors

IMUA “Year in Review” 2014-2015 Highlights • 2015 Goals • Continued participation in APPA Legislative Rally and related activities and events • 54 attendees in March 2015 to Washington DC • Proposed EPA regulations, tax exempt financing, cyber and physical security issues • In-house production of 2015-16 IMUA Membership Directory advantages – enhanced cost-efficiencies and savings, increased advertising revenue, greater editorial control over advertising and content • Overall goal: steady expansion of Utility, Associate and Affiliate membership ranks, stepped-up communication & cooperation

IMUA 2014-15 Highlights Continued Communications and Expanded Safety & Training Program Efforts: • Safety Sentinelnewsletter compliments existing on-line discussion forum, IMUA ListServ, local member muni customer service efforts • IMUA constantly broadening its educational and safety outreach & efforts for members • State rules and regulations, federal rules, FEMA • Among topics covered: contractor & visitor Awareness; new and follow-up Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for the classification and labeling of chemicals, SDS Manuals; OSHA Job Briefing, Fall Protection, Arc-Flash/Arc-Blast Protection & Prevention and Minimum Approach Distances (MADs) & Subpart V Changes training; household generator safety; electric and natural gas safety

IMUA 2014-15 Highlights • Safety & Training Program Participants • 24 Illinois Municipalities • 9 Missouri Communities • Variety of Training Topics & Sessions • Two new Contractual Trainers – Ron Cook (Wheaton) who currently is shadowing Al Thorson (who retires June 1);and, Denny Swan (Villa Grove),will begin shadowing George Perko in July and August (George retires September 1)

IMUA 2014-15 Highlights • Added flexibility for IMUA in offering an expanded list of training webinars, seminars and hands-on training • Example of New and/or Planned Program Topics • Rubber Gloving/ Sleeving, Grounding • Apprentice Lineman Training • Customer-determined training sessions to meet your needs

IMUA HIGHLIGHTS • Ongoing 2015-16 Goals & Objectives = Developing additional training partnerships, creating new revenue streams, forging stronger intra-organizational ties with other organizations: • Illinois Municipal League (IML) • Illinois DCEO • Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) • Continue Legislative & Regulatory Efforts • Keep Members Informed of Issues and Events • Cooperation and Trust
