2008 Federal Human Capital SurveyFindings At A Glance Reminder: The 2008 All Employee Survey included 74 items plus 11 demographic items; 39 items were used in the 2006 FHCS • Administered 8/1/08-9/26/08 • 3,283 VA employees responded for a 52% response rate; Governmentwide 50.9% • 8 items increased by 5 percentage points or more since 2006 • 1 items decreased by 5 percentage points since 2006 • (My supervisor supports my need to balance work and other life issues.) • 20 items had positive ratings of 65 percent or greater (strengths) • (Employees like their work and believe it is important) • 2 items had negative ratings of 35 percent or greater (weaknesses)
