IUAV: steps to realize theBologna Process’principles PRINCIPLES: • A system with three main cycles (undergraduate/graduate/doctorate) • A system of easily readable and comparable degrees • A common system of credits • Promote mobility by overcoming obstacles
Bologna Process: 3 main cycles (undergraduate/graduate/doctorate) • Iuav offers a number of 3-year undergraduate programmes in architecture, building construction, visual arts, theatre, urban and regional planning, and territorial information systems. • It offers 2-year graduate programmes in architecture, product design, visual arts, theatre, and city and urban planning. • Iuav is also expanding its post-graduate international programmes to include Master and PhD. • Which are the levels of degree awarded in your University?

Bologna Process: A common system of credits 2 • ECTS credits: • According to ECTS, the workload of a full-time student during one academic year corresponds to a 60 credits measure. • The student workload of a full-time study programme amounts to around 1500 hours/36 weeks. • At IUAV one credit stands for around 25 working hours

WELCOME SERVICE 1 • IUAV Student Mobility Offer offers international students a first welcome service, providing them with any information about the University and useful services. • IUAV SERVICES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: • Welcome day (once a year) • 2 IUAV Tutors: 1 senior student and 1 professor (didactic tutor/placement tutor) • Matriculation process and student secretary
WELCOME SERVICE 2 • REGIONAL SERVICES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (ESU-1): • Accomodation service (more than 40 accomodation places for international students + temporary accomodation) • Canteen service (3 canteens – 4,50€ per complete meal) • Psychological assistance

ENROLMENT AND CAREER • The Student Mobility Office manages the processes of enrolment, learning agreements’ modifications, Erasmus period extensions, Erasmus career’s closing. • The Faculties’ Didactic Secretaries manage the processes of evaluation and recording of final marks.
