Project Overview Creation of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of the following: Autonomous flight GPS navigation Ground photography Purpose: Improve aerial photography
Design Challenges Plane weight and balance Mounting components to plane GPS sensitivity Software control algorithms RF Interference Testing overall functionality
Project Demonstration An ability to fly an R/C plane autonomously once airborne, based on pre-programmed waypoints An ability to decode and display GPS coordinates 3.
