  2. The Problem • Not enough water for people. They are growing thin on water resources • Not enough water for salmon. The creeks water levels are decreasing, making it harder for the salmon to return to their spawning areas. • Not enough water for other species and their habitats

  3. What is being done. • Farmers, ranchers and other water-rights holders will often sell, lease, water rights to Washington Water Acquisition Program, so they can restore these areas. • A regional water supply planning process is technical information regarding current and future water flow issues in and around King County

  4. What people can do to help. • Volunteer for to help clear streams • Withdraw water from dams • Drink bottled water
