  9. How are we doing so far? Lies, damn lies and statistics! 173,119 bed days in 2005/6* of which 103,824 (60%) were non-elective* 146,584 bed days in 2007/8* of which 87,912 were non-elective* Reduction of 15% *Cancer Commissioning Toolkit – HES Data
