Handling the Day to Day • Sharpen pencils before and after class discussion. • You can borrow my materials, but please return them. • Supplies (and the money to buy them) are finite sources. • If you need supplies, get them before and after class discussion.

Missing work Tutoring Fill out the form EVERYTIME For your own benefit Remediation is required to retake a summative. Also for your benefit • Use the website • Use the make up work bin • Ask questions during lunch. During tutoring, your teacher should help you LEARN the work. She does not want to help you FIND the work.
Bathroom/Water Pass • Privilege. Not a right. • If you abuse it, you lose it. • Respect the pass.
Drills and Emergency Procedures • No electronics. Period. • Stay together as a class. • Follow all teachers’ instructions the first time they’re given! • Move quickly.
If You Finish Your Work Early • Congratulations! • Choose a challenge. • For a homework pass • Give me the egg. • Attach the challenge to your submission. • Read a book. • Check one out from the class library. • You are responsible for lost books. • Go to the Reading Nook. • SILENT area. • You can/will be kicked out as a negative consequence. • Do make-up work
Classroom Library • MY books • Failing to return any borrowed books will result in a financial obligation. • If you read something you like, add it to the Reading Tree
Break Room • A chance to think about how to approach conflicts between what you need/want and classroom policies. • Take your time if you’re upset. • Fill out form completely. • By teacher’s invitation only. • If your breaks are too frequent, parent contact will be made.
End of Class • Do NOT stand near the door. • 7th period- • Announcements are NOT a reason for you to pack up early or stand near the door.
