  3. OTB in training • 2 simulation Centers • Each has 30 simulation PCs • Functional since 2000, built from FMF • From the beginning till now, both centers executed 105 exercises (in past few years 20 per year) • Using ModSAF, OTB 1.0 and now OTB2.5

  4. Wide range of functionality • Mechanized units • Air force • Standard in OTB • Specialized units • Not fully supported in official release • Changes available through source code modification • Wide range of parametric data

  5. Areas of use • Mechanized and armor units • Air force units • Air defense units • Artillery units • Logistics and engineers units • NBC units • Crisis management entities • Medical units

  6. OTB – integrating role for other types of simulation • Simulation Center in MTA Lest was built so that all types of simulation will be integrated • Connection to virtual simulators • Connection to live simulation (planned) • Connection to C2 systems (planned)

  7. Add-ons • Air defense • Artillery • Floods • Chemical areas – movement based on environment, contamination • Epidemic – infection, vaccination, injury
