With a vision of Expansion and Growth in activities, Accanoor Associates was diversified as a Pvt Ltd. Co. under the companies Act 1956 known as “ACKNUR CONSTRUCTIONS PVT LTD” • From its inception in 1984 Mr. Deepak Rao under the name of Accanoor Associates commenced the Slum Rehab Project as Sole Proprietor. Accanoor Associates have already completed construction job’s to the tune of 5.0 Lac’s sq. ft and above and also provided free houses to more than 2000 slum families in and around the island city of Mumbai • We would also like to share one more milestone, we have recently achieved a contracting license in the name and style of “Acknur Contracting L.L.C” in the emirates of UAE (Dubai) and have already commenced our construction activities. • It’s been over two decades in the field of constructions and housing over thousand families, we are proud to inform you that, we are now further diversifying into a public limited company in the name and style of ACKNUR DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED (A.D.I.L.).
About Karjat • Karjat is an extended suburb of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Located about halfway between Mumbai and Pune, with a population of 2,17,363. It is located on Bhor Ghats, Sahyadri, Western Ghats as well as at the end of coastal plains of Konkan region near Deccan. It has an average elevation of 194 metres (636 ft). It lies on the banks of the River Ulhas, and its picturesque location that consists of a very rich terrain, full of greenery in the monsoons, with waterfalls on virtually every hill uniting to form rivers and streams. A new broad gauge railway has started between Karjat and Panvel, allowing the Harbour Railway line to extend up to Karjat, which is presently used by mail trains (Passenger & Goods). Once the suburban railway line gets operational on the Panvel-Karjat line, the distance between Karjat to Mumbai CST is expected to be only 1.00 hours or less, as against the existing 1.45 hours. This will transform Karjat into a buzzing suburb in a very short period. All long and short distance trains halt at karjat, which is routed from the current Thane – Dadar – CST routing to Karjat – Vashi – CST routing.
Road Ways:- • Pune highway, National highways, Nasik Highway, Goa Highway, Mumbai - Pune expressway and state highways and Raigad District, Kharghar are well connected. The under construction sea over bridge, trans-harbor link between Sewri and Nhava, from its planned end at Chirle village near Nhava Sheva, connectivity to key highways like the Mumbai - Pune National Highway (NH) 4 or the Mumbai - Goa NH 17 would mean filling gaps of about 20 km in various directions.
