What are the PHASES of our Passion Project ? 1:Choose Topic Students must choose a topic to learn and what they are going to create. This includes their passion and their purpose for learning/creating. 4:Share It All While students learn they share their process, what they have learned including what mistakes and challenges they have encountered. 2:Pitch Your Idea Now students have to pitch their idea to their classmates by sharing what they’ll learn, why they chose it, how they will learn, and what is going to be a success for them. 5:Make and Design It is time to make and build! Students design solutions and products based on what they have been learning, all for an authentic audience. 3:Research/Learn This is the research phase which includes learning online, watching videos, interviewing people. Talking to mentors and reading information on topic of choice. 6 and 7:Present/Reflect After students make their product it is time for them to present (either TED Style or Gallery Walk) with peers and audience. Finally, reflect on the process of Genius Hour.
