Historic Archiving • What changed • A new device was created : HdbArchiver • It inherits the polling task from the old DataCollector • It inherits the filing task from the old Dhdb • A new library was created : HdbManager • It inherits some task from the old HdbManager • It inherits some task from the old HdbTc • It inherits some task from the old HdbManagerGUI

Intermediate Archiving • What ‘s new : • A DServer named HdbFastArchiver was created • It’s almost a clone of HdbArchiver. • The difference : During a defined time, it saves data into a file buffer first.
