  3. Enlisted He enlisted while living in East St. Louis in order to gain more discipline in his life and to avoid trouble.

  4. Jobs and Assignments While stationed in Daharan he worked as a engineer helping to repair and build bridges and roads Construction Engineer

  5. Medals • While serving in Operation Desert Storm he earned Army Accommodation medal and the Army Achievements medal.

  6. Mr. Kelly was located in Dhahran. This area went through numerous seasons such as winter in the middle of the desert. Location,Location,Location!

  7. Camp Life • During the pressure, the soldiers relieved stress by playing cards, writing letters, and playing sports.

  8. Haha LOL • One of the pranks that was pulled on him while he was in Dhahran was when he was on a morale call when his wife acted like she was a guy answering from his house and he flipped about but laughed when he found out it was her in the end.

  9. His arrival home he was interviewed by the local news and he got to see this daughter Robyn for the first time. Service Ending

  10. Affect On His Life • Here’s a brief clip of his thoughts about the war and how the war really made him appreciate all that he has.

  11. Best Memory His best memory was jungle training in Panama because as he said “it was experience like no other.”
