  3. Important Events • 1696, entered Kilkenny College • 1700-04, attended Trinity College, Dublin, graduating with a B.A. • 1707, Junior Fellow at Trinity College • 1709, published An Essay towards a New Theory of Vision • 1710, published Principles of Human Knowledge, Part I

Important Events (cont.)‏ • 1710, ordained Anglican Priest • 1712, visited London and published De Motu • 1713, published Three Dialogues between Hylas and Philonous • 1716-21, made a grand tour of Europe, losing the manuscript to Part II of the Principles • 1721, completed bachelorate and doctorate of divinity • 1723, received half the estate of an heiress
