  1. About Delta Airlines Delta Airlines is one of the major airlines in the United States of America. Commonly known as “Delta”, along with its subsidiaries, regional affiliates and including Delta Connection operates flight to 300 destinations in 50 countries, with up to 15000 daily flights. Over 60 percent of its customers are college graduates and more than 200 million passengers fly with Delta each year. Northwest Airlines was absorbed into Delta Airlines in October 2008 and completed its integration in January 2010. This merger made Delta the largest airline in the world until American Airlines and US Airways merger in December 2013. Delta Airline is also one of the founding members of the SkyTeam Airline Alliance. Delta Airline is also ranked second among the world’s largest airlines when talked about total passengers carried, total distance flown, and fleet size.

Delta Airlines also has joint ventures with Korean Air, Latam Airlines Group, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia, and West Jet.
