God Dwells Among His People • Exo 25:8 • And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. • Exo 29:45-46 • 45 I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God. 46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God. • 2Cor 6:16 • 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “ I will dwell in them, And walk among them.I will be their God,And they shall be My people.”
A Copy of Heaven • Exo 26:1,33-34: • “Moreover you shall make the tabernacle [with] ten curtains [of] fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet [thread]; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them.” • “And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy [place] and the Most Holy. You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy.” • Heb 9:3,7,12,23-24
The True Tabernacle is in Heaven Rev 11:19, 15:5 • “Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple.” • “After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.”

The Veil • Exo 26.31-32 • “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet [thread], and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia [wood] overlaid with gold. Their hooks [shall] [be] gold, upon four sockets of silver.” • Rev 19:11-13,16 • 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had[a] a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. • 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Veil • Blue – Heaven (Heaven opened) • Purple – Royalty (crowns, King of Kings) • Scarlet (red) - Blood, Salvation (Christ – Heb 10:20) • Linen (white) – Purity (white horse) • Christ our pure King brought us into Heaven through His Blood
The Veil Why was the veil torn from top to bottom? Matt 27:50-51: 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom…
The Veil … • Because God is the one who rent it: • *Col 1:20 • and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. • Rom 5.8, 2 Cor 5:18-20, Eph 1:7 • I Pet 1.18-19, Rev 19.11-13,16
The Great Day of Atonement • Lev 16:2-24: • Rite of preparation • Scapegoat – “for Azazel” • Death/Resurrection • Forgiveness/forgetfulness of sins • Sins of Satan (Azazel), not atoned yet • Atonement by Blood only • The High Priest (Christ) entered the Holy of Holies (Heaven) only once and not without blood (offered Himself) on the great day of Atonement. • I Cor 2:16 • Heb 9:7,24-25, 10:19
