  3. What will we cover? • Project Management • Critical path analysis • Using MS-project • Database management systems • HCI • Using MS-Access

  4. Assignment Criteria • A portfolio worth 100% with three separate pieces of assessed work. • Part 1 – individual, 40% • Part 2 – group work, 40% • Part 3 – individual, 20% • NO EXAM

  5. Delivery style • Discussion based • Exercise based • Research based • Occasional presentations/demonstrations

  6. PDP • PDP runs in this module • You will each have two individual sessions with your tutor to help you with this it forms a very important part of the module • Independent study will play a major role and that some part of the module will be used to assist students in the development of skills which will help with this.
