What is Parent Council? • All parents are members of Parent Forum • Parent Council is the committee group which represents the Parent Forum • Composed of 1 or 2 reps for each class in the school • The role of Parent Council is to: • Act as communication link between parents and school, local authority and wider community • Discuss matters of interest: school policies etc • Organise fundraising and social events
