Was awarded the Ashoka Chakra by the Indian Government and The Hero of The Soviet Union and The Order of Lenin by the erstwhile Soviet Government. Col. B K Rai Col Rai was the Co-Founder, ex-Chairman of HCL Technologies Ltd, today a $ 4 Billion Technology Company. He was the Director of multiple private and public companies during the last 50 years. A Post Graduate from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, he started his career as an engineer in Telco, served the Indian Air Force for a while and was then posted to the Indian High Commission in UK. He was the President - the Amateur Radio Society of India, member of the High Level Privatization Committee of U.P. Govt, India, member of the Senate of IIT Kanpur, member of a Business delegation led by the Prime Minister of India to Japan, fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. C V Prakash Prakash is the Chairman of Gradatim IT Ventures, an On-Demand Business Process Utility company. An Engineer by profession, Prakash is a successful entrepreneur involved with the IT Industry for almost 20 years. Started his first start up business, introducing the technology of Mark Sense in India, it grew to a M$ Business by 2000. Prakash started TRRS Imaging in the year 2000 – a company focused on customized solutions in Imaging technology. In 2003, he founded Indecomm Global Services, a leader in Technology-based Processing among all BPO.

An Economics Graduate from Mumbai University, Arun spent most of his initial life with the India Today Group. During this time, he wrote a famous book on Mumbai., India, managed Indya.com, Radio City, Bangalore. As Vice President of Microland, he ran their BPO organisation. Arun is a Charter Member of TiE, Bangalore chapter. Mario Breganza Currently on a sabbatical after 2+ decades of corporate life, Mario's dream is to pursue his passion of equity research and trading. Prior to embarking on this sabbatical from mid Nov 2007, Mario's innings with Birla Sun Life Insurance ended as their Chief Operating Officer. At HSBC where Mario invested two decades of his learning life, his last job was as Manager Customer Services & Operations, Credit Cards India. 5. Why Village BPO? The concentration of the off-shore industries India is primarily in the Metros. The major players in the offshore services space are operating mostly from these cities, due to the available infrastructures, affluence skilled resources etc at this moment. But this scenario is going to change shortly. The industry is going to confront a potential shortage of skilled workers in the next few years or so, particularly in the offshore industry. Currently only about 25% of technical graduates and 10% - 15% of general college graduates are suitable for employment in the offshore industries respectively. The infrastructures available in those cities are insufficient to scale up with the rapid pace at which this offshore service industry is booming. Cities are at a breaking point, and further growth will have to come from entirely new business districts outside of these cities, and gradually from the Villages. Most of the efforts in the Village BPO space have been made by the organizations, so far are to transform a less educated person (school drop out or undergraduate) to a BPO worker. No one has made any effort to take a zero educated person and make him/her employable for the BPO oriented job. But the reality is that the largest chunk of poorest of people does not have the opportunity for schooling and education. These villagers who do not have any opportunity, can create a miracle with their dedication, commitments, passion and values, if given an opportunity. They deliver far better services than a graduate in the cities. This is NOW proven.
