Tyler Street; Tacoma, WA The Siskiyou Mountains are well known for their botanical diversity and number of endemic species, as well as for spectacular plants like Kalmiopsis Wilderness in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest of southwest Oregon. Linda will relate stories of the 2002 Biscuit Fire and aftermath, • Darlingtonia fens, rare rockcress (Arabis) species, and of course, will • share her botanical artwork and speak of the wildflowers and wild places • that have been her muse. Dr. Vorobik researches rockcress species (Arabis, Brassicaceae) and is Principal Illustrator for The Jepson Manual, second Edition (B. Baldwin, Editor, et al.).
