  2. הכנה לג' תמוז Gimmel Tammuz is coming our way, What are we doing to prepare for this day? As always the BnosChabad has a Hachana in store, It’s connected to Hayom Yom, but wait! There’s more! The Rebbe compiled the thoughts of each day, And we will be learning them, in a creative way. Each morning, when you log onto class you will see, A slideshow Hachana on the board for you and for me. You’ll read the Hayom Yom and discuss it too, The main thing – you’ll see what ACTION you can do, That connects to that day’s thought and to Moshiach as well, And you’ll fill out a form – what did you do? Please tell! Submit your form, and then you can grin, Because who knows? The raffle you may win! 

  12. היום יום: ח' שבט בפרט בזמן הזה אשר בחסדי השי"ת אנו עומדים על סף הגאולה, עלינו להתאמץ בכל מיני אימוץ, לחזק כל עניני הדת בהידור מצוה, לשמור את כל המנהגים מבלי לוותר אף כל שהוא In these days especially, when by Hashem’s kindness we stand at the threshold of redemption, we must make every conceivable effort to strengthen every part of our religion. Mitzvos must be observed with beauty, beyond minimum requirements. Customs must be kept scrupulously, nothing compromised.

  13. POEM Penina trudged on her way to school wearily, 2 more weeks to school – how could that be? She felt so burnt out, school was so dreary, She felt so tired, it was almost scary! When she got school, after a ¼ mile, She was greeted by Morah Gold with a smile. Class then started, but Morah first said, “Girls I know what is going through your head! You are thinking, who cares about school anymore? When it’s almost summer and you’d rather be out the door!

  14. POEM But girls just remember, these last 2 weeks, It’s when you want to keep the worm in your beaks! You should act extra hard, ‘cause the ending is what, Will stay in everyone’s minds - no one will ever forget! So be good girls just like I wrote, And let’s end this school year on a good note!” Penina was astounded, could it really be? Morah had read her thoughts so perfectly! She resolved to end the year being good, And doing better then what she just could.
