A person must follow the steps below to make their trip a bit more safe and happy. Step 1 • Before leaving for the trip make a copy of the first two pages of the passport. • Your passport pictures should be clear too. • Keep the copies separate from your original passport at your destination as well to avoid losing both at the same time.
Step 2 • While traveling keep your passport with you to show officials at the entry points. • Avoid having one person carry passports for everyone in a group. • Have each member responsible for his own passport. • Carry your passport in an inside pocket, instead of your carry-on or in an external pocket.
Step 3 • Secure your passport while traveling local areas. • Use a specially designed container, that is splash-proof. • Can be attached to a belt loop or a neck pouch that allows you to carry your passport and other small items safely.
