  5. Neuroprosthetics • Also called neural prosthetics • Aseries of devices that can substitute motor, sensory or cognitive modality that might have been damaged as result of an injury or disease.

  6. Target Reinnervation • Enables an amputee to control motorized prosthetic devices and to regain sensory feedback.
