Safety & Security: traveling • Travel in groups, never alone • Utilize buddy system • Let others know your plans • Use caution, plan ahead • Bring proper attire
Safety & Security: belongings • Purchase passport carrying case for passport, credit/debit cards and cash • Keep credit cards, cash on you at all times • No need to carry large amount of cash • Consider leaving copy of passport with emergency contact • Not the time to display fancy jewelry or latest purchase
Luggage & Packing • Suitcase size and recommendations • Efficiency matters! • Chat with friends- share shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. • Use dryer sheets to freshen items • You will need: walking shoes, warm clothing (layers), business casual attire, jacket
Money Budget: Plan to cover 1-2 meals each day plus whatever you plan to spend on recreation and souvenirs. • Best to use credit card for majority of purchases • Talk to your bank! Investigate fees and plan accordingly • Must have pin number associated with credit card • You will be able to get cash once we get there • Keep receipts to verify purchases later

Email Jessica to set up an appointment: jessica.murdock@montana.edu What I need from you at that meeting: 1. Copy of passport 2. Copy of health insurance information/ membership card 3. Emergency contact information (name, address, phone number) 4. Documentation that I will provide: MSU Authorization Form and MSU Travel Insurance Reporting Form
