  12. SOCIAL AND LABOUR PLANS – LED PROJECTS Starting 2009 Ikwezi Quarries has been contributing an amount of 10 000 rand per month to the local community trust with a 10 % escalation . The soul purpose of this amount is to have the community identify and initiate community projects . Upon consulting with the community and relevant authorities a poultry project was identified as most relevant for the community . We have committed an amount of R 150 000 , we have just completed the structure , this is on going . The was a destitute women leaving in our community in a one room house with three children , we build this women a four room house at a present estimated cost of R 190 000 . We gave 30 of the most needy community members food parcels for Christmas in 2011 . This came at R 100 000 Date 16
