Patrick Burns is a keen intellect with comprehensive legal knowledge augmented by his excellent academic background.In 1978, he received a law degree and then he started his own law practice in auburn and continued for 20 years. In 1998, Patrick Burns Judge was appointed as a Presiding Judge at the Auburn Municipal Court.Then he joined the Judicial College as a faculty member to provide academic excellence to the students and also been a member of DMCJA Court Rules Committee. He is also an active member of South King Country Bar Association Board since year 1997.

  2. An intelligent, upright and honest individual, Patrick Burns Judge has a history of professional excellence. He is a keen intellect with comprehensive legal knowledge which is augmented by his excellent academic background. He received his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Washington. Later, he enrolled in School of Law at the University of Puget and received a law degree in the year 1978.

  3. After that, he commenced his own practice in Auburn,WA with specialization in Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and Family Law. He continued his legal practice for almost twenty years which further enhanced his proficiency and competence in all his professional pursuits pertaining to the legal system. In year, 1998, Patrick Burns Judge was appointed as a Presiding Judge at the Auburn Municipal Court, which was a Full Time Elective Position. He worked here with commitment and complete dedication towards public service and rendered impartial and fair judgments.

  4. Sequentially, he joined the Judicial College as a faculty member to provide academic excellence to the students. He has also been a member of DMCJA Court Rules Committee and has worked on various projects like Substance Abuse Providers Standards Project and Inter-jurisdictional Warrant Quashing Project. Judge Patrick Burns Auburn is an active member of DMCJA Legislative Committee and South King Country Bar Association Board since year 1997. He has even been an assiduous member of DMCJA Salary and Benefits Committee. His successful career profile is the result of his exceptional performance in all his judicial undertakings.

  5. Currently, he is working as a Pro-Tem Judicial Officer at Kent and Kirkland Municipal Courts.
