  2. Introduction Not all have the heart of gold and the desire to serve the underprivileged. There are just a few gifted souls and the Nan Inc Owner, Patrick Shin is amongst those few. It is generally said the one who experiences difficulties can always understand the pain of those going through it and Patrick Shin, a well-known Hawaii general contractor is the biggest example of this. He’s not just serving the people of Hawaii but also supports many organizations and groups outside Hawaii.

  3. Mukti-Mancha Foundation Of Bangladesh

  4. • Donated $300,00 to this foundation • It helps about 120 deserving children who work to improve their lives and family • The foundation provides books, supplies, clothing, medical aid, and tuition to the poor children • Patrick Shin is supporting and sponsoring this charitable trust as an initiative to end poverty worldwide and will also make an annual donation to help and build orphanages around the world

  5. Fund For The Hawaii Pacific University’s Soccer Program

  6. • Donated the fund amounting to $80,000 over the period of 4 years to Hawaii Pacific University Soccer Program under the name Nan Inc Soccer Fund • It will be used for supporting local athletic programs • This fund is solely for student support, student and coach travel, program and equipment expenses, field maintenance, infrastructure expenses, scholarship support, and HPU Soccer Program activities

  7. In Support Of Distinguished Young Women Of Hawaii

  8. • This is the oldest and largest scholarship organization for college-bound young women in the world • It’s been funded by the Nan Inc Owner, Patrick Shin since 2003 • Every year cash scholarships of over $17,000 are awarded to deserving senior girls who complete the program and showcase their achievements at the State Finals • Nan Inc supports their mission of recognizing and rewarding Hawaii’s promising and accomplished young women

  9. Donation To The Armed Services YMCA’s Celebrating The Military Family

  10. • Nan Inc is the lead sponsor for the Armed Services YMCA’s Celebrating The Military Family breakfast event from past two years • Armed Services YMCA is a private non-profit organization, which is serving the Hawaii’s military community since 1917 and now Patrick Shin has stand to support it • They focus on program and services that cover education and child care, financial support and assistance, and services to reduce the feeling of isolation and loneliness in military members and their families • With the help of the Nan Inc Owner, their services and programs have managed to spread across the island of Oahu

  12. • Nan Inc is supporting the Special Olympics from past 4 years • This year they have donated $10,000 to their cause • The Special Olympics is an organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in several Olympic-type sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities Well, some of the best ways of giving back to the community!
