Special Feature:university credit SUNY Albany: University in the High School program Four college credits with successful completion of coursework- UAlbany transcript of grades – transferable to other colleges and universities No state exam; teacher-created final assessment Fully accredited with yearly observations and approvals

  4. Use of Technology • - Assignments on Google Classroom • - audio & speaking tasks at home for ease of practice- to develop confidence • * Need for recording apparatus and recording programs (Garage Band, Audacity with Lame encoder, Vocaroo.com) • - Limited use of on-line help/ translators

  5. Operating smoothly • Communication – first with student to encourage “ownership” of the goals of learning and responsibility • Best means – e-mail system • Tutoring/extra help – always available after school - peer tutors also - • Work when absent – thru guidance or thru a classmate
