Year 12 UCAS / HE Tutorial • Research careers and entry requirements • Explain UCAS Tariff • Explain range of degrees available from Foundation Degree, Foundation Year, Sandwich degrees. • Research HE courses and entry requirements • Research Russell group universities • Research HE open days • Explore advantages and disadvantages of HE • Promote HE taster days, summer schools and access schemes. • Become familiar with UCAS website and university league tables • Discuss alternatives to HE such as Gap Year, Apprenticeships, School Leaver programmes and Employment • All students received an assembly on Degree Apprenticeships
