4 v 4 Tournament with an Individual Winner for 16 - 100 participants, 40 to 90 minutes..... and only one organiser
General Characteristics • All participants play at the same time • Easy to organise • At the end there will be one individual winner • Each player has different team mates and opponents each game • The duration of the games is 8-10 minutes
General Characteristics • Players find out for themselves on which pitch they have to play • Players decide their positions among themselves • Players keep track of the scores themselves • There is no referee (you can appoint somebody who guides the play) • Children control the rules of the game themselves (note: kick-in in stead of throw-in)
Point System Win = 10 points Tie = 5 points Each scored goal = 1 point
General Organisation • 5 pitches 4v4 (40 x 20 meter) on an official match pitch • Use cones/stakes to make goals: 2-3 meter wide (if available small goals) • The goals are marked with letters (see pictures) • The pitches are indicated in a way everyone can see it from the central position
General Organisation • At each pitch 5 bibs are left in one of the goals • The game schedule is displayed in a way all participants can see and read it • Explanation will be given to the participants about: • - how to read the schedule • - the scores • - the teams • - substitution (when 5v4 or 4v3) • - the start- and final whistle of each game • - which team wears the bibs
Basic Rules • There is no referee, the children control the rules themselves • There is no goalkeeper • Kick-off from the goal with the bibs • After a goal has been scored the player may dribble or pass the ball from the back line • Free-kicks are always indirect, the distance from the opponent to the ball must be at least 3 meters
Basic Rules • In stead of throw-ins the ball is kicked in from the side line (you can't score directly) • No off-side • Penalties from the kick-off spot without a goalkeeper • One can score from any position of the pitch • If a team has 5 players there must be substitutions made during the game (the players can arrange this themselves)
