The picture “Cartoon globe” (Lol-rofl, n.d.) Live below the line, a challenge created by the Global Poverty Project, is a fundraiser that is increasingly gaining more popularity – worldwide(Globalpovertyproject, n.d.).

The picture “People giving money” (Dreamstime, n.d.) They recieve donations and give the raised money to a charity of their choice (Globalpovertyproject, n.d.).
The photo “Hunger” (Futureworldfoundation, 2013) The goal is for participants to eat on only $2 per day. This forces them to experience part of what people living in extreme poverty face on a regular period (Global poverty project, n.d.).

Lead by the World Health Organisaion, UNICEF, the US Center for Disease Control, Rotary International and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GPEI has diminished recorded polio cases by more than 99% (since 1988). It has gone from more than 300,000 recorded cases per year to <300. (Globalpovertyproject, n.d.)
The End of Polio Concert This concert was held right before the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, in 2011. The idea was to create public awareness. 1.4 Billion Reasons is a presentation created in 2009 that describes the concerns which are responsible for poverty – and what can be done about it (Globalpovertyproject, n.d.). The photo “1.4 billion reasons” (Globalpovertyproject, n.d.)
The photo “Crowd mass” (Lradx, n.d.) More than 200,000 people have seen this video at more than 2,000 events. On five different continents(Globalpovertyproject, n.d.).
